Facilities & Tenants

Ages range from 60 to 100 plus. Male, female, married couples or partners are all welcome. The house has 7 Floors including ground and basement. Guest Room (2 bed), Laundry, Garden Sitting Room with communal TV, library and resident computers / Dining Room / Meeting Room Scheme Managers and ICS Office / Admin Office Internal lift to all floors. Porch lift at rear to access upper garden/ street level All flats have central heating. Emergency alarm system in all flats and common areas.

Support Provided

The residents are supported by the Scheme Manager and Supported Housing Manager (Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm) who are responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the House.  Residents are offered:

  • Individual support plans and care packages
  • Advocacy and Advice
  • Obtaining and accessing other appropriate services giving freedom of informed choice
  • Encouragement to join in with in- house and Community Social Activities preventing isolation.
  • Liasing with home helps, meals on wheels, doctors visits etc
  • Day to Day Maintenance of the scheme

In addition to the above there is a 24hr central alarm system in each flat. The Community Alarm Service answers all emergency calls out of hours.

Our Staff

IHA is headed up by a Director who manages four staff and volunteers. Staff are available on-site during office hours.
